Been posting some in my "introduction" thread, but it occurred to me that this is probably where they should go. So, apologies to anyone who has already seen any of these.
Originally I posted this set from a little jaunt I took to the edge of the Witch Head Nebula:

Tthe last one is my favorite--I managed to get the Orion, Flame, Running Man, and Horse Head nebulae all in the same shot with Barnard's Loop and Witch Head.
Then I posted these:
Investigating a USS way out in the black, I came across the wreckage of a derelict vessel--from the looks of it, they cut it a little too close in the planet's rings. There was some cargo floating around, so I grabbed it. Turned out to be rare artwork, though why it was flagged as stolen is beyond me. Elite seriously needs a salvage license or something.

I'm glad I was able to get the planet in the lower right. I'm always keeping an eye out for binary planets within visual range of each other, especially ringed gas giants like these.

For this one, I wanted to see if I could land on an asteroid with my gear down. It's possible, but only sort of--and only if the asteroid isn't moving at all, or you can match its rotation. I took more than twenty shots before settling on this one. This is an extremely close binary pair with a big class K orbiting their gravitational center, and I'm glad I was able to get all three in the shot.

Last night I started my pilgrimage to SagA*. I stopped for the evening around 1400LY from Sol. These two shots are both from the same system. The first is a scorchingly hot lava world and its companion only light-seconds from the primary.

The latter is a brown dwarf with a prominent ring system at the far edge of the system. It's not a binary--this is the primary's outermost satellite.

Hope you enjoy!
