Elite: Dangerous PvE - Mobius

I am very new at this game. I'm trying to make CR by hunting down pirates with the help of the police in a HIGH security area. I was told if I shoot at a pirate within 20 seconds of him being killed by the police, I would get part of the bounty. So I'm looking for a high res area in a high security zone. I'm currently at LHS 6309 / Tesla Station. I already checked out the one gas giant in this system, but not much is going on there.

Could someone help me find such an area, somewhat close to where I am now?

Hi, um I've never heard of the 20 second thing, experience tells me that it's not true however.

A useful tool for finding bodies with rings is https://eddb.io/body.
Choose planet in the 'Body Group', set 'Has Rings' to Yes, Set 'System is Populated' to Yes, and put your current system in the 'Reference System' box.

You can then sort the result by Distance to show the planets that have rings near to your system. Click on the System in the results (open it in a new tab or you'll loose your settings when you page back) and it'll tell you the security state.

It doesn't mean it'll have a RES site, so you may have to jump about a bit.

I often, out of hand recommend LHS 20, not far from heart of federation, very close to a selection of resource sites, lot's of police response when you want that, and haz res when you don't.

Also decent outfitting and ships for sale at 15% off.

My friends and I are inhabiting Wolf 906 now. It's in Hudson space, various res sites. One station, decent prices and outfitting.
