Elite: Dangerous PvE - Mobius

Hey there Commanders,

I have a problem with the mission. I am relatively new to ED. I have been to FELICE DOCK gotten the old RamTah mission. Got my ship to Synuefe XR-H D11-102 1B went out to collect at least 2 of each item requested in the mission and started visiting the obelisks. I am able to scan em, but I havn't got any Guardian Logbook messages on the whole site... I successfully got data from the obelisks, but nothing else such as it should like getting messages on Dav's Hope. (Everytime I scan, I have the 2 devices in my cargo of the SRV.

Any clues or tips what I could do or what I am doing wrong?

So, has this issue of having to bring buddies to get some of the obelisks to activate been resolved?
It seems a tad tough to those of us a little late to the table!

In other words, can I now get ALL the required scans on my own in Open?

Just wanna say BIG thanks firstly for making this thread, because otherwise I'd probably never found out about this mission, as like about 90% of interesting content in Elite, because one has to literally scour internet resources, fan sites etc, to find any of it... And secondly for a tremendous job putting up maps with marks to make whole process easy to comprehend and relatively fast. It would take me months to figure out this stuff, but with the help here, I've done it in just 3 evenings. 111 mil CR is nice, but didn't really do it for money, I was wondering about the purpose of Guardian Artifacts, and now I know. Also got Elite Explorer finally, which I was looking for a while to get and got stocked up on Guardian Scans in case I'll need it in a future. Definitely will save me hard grind down the road.

Now it's time to go see what Palin has to offer, heh.
