Get your Bearings

Postby Loriath » Thu Aug 18, 2016 6:22 am

So, you got a tip off with coordinates, or your google fu has given you the coordinates for those Barnacles. But how the hell do you find the location?

Sure, you can get to the planet and spend time doing the math and breaking out the compass and making a map, or you could use the fancy ED Bearing Calculator.

I found it in this thread on Reddit. Thought others might find it useful.

Great find!

I've never understood why FDev haven't included the ability to mark a set of coordinates on the planet. Given that it is becoming a major game mechanic, finding this on the surface of a planet, there needs to be a way to mark a point precisely.

It's even more mind numbing that in orbital cruise they REMOVE THE FUCKING COMPASS from the HUD when that is the time you need it the most.

Rule 2: No such thing as overkill, as long as there are reloads.
