Oh Come on People.

To remember the Scoopable Stars its FOG KBAM.

If you Fly in the FOG you might go KBAM.

All others are imposters.

When you target a Coriolis station, there will be arrows visible on your Hud showing where the mail slot is.

99% of the time its facing the planet. If you approach from below or above the plant then as you get close start to aim towards the station and you will be facing the front in most cases if you get level to the station orbit.

When you'be been in a tussle and been mugged badly enough for things to break - like the canopy or the thrusters - don't think "Oh my shields are back up to three rings, and it's all working again now, I'll just take on that anaconda before heading in for repairs. After all, he's only a novice."

Yup. First ship lost in a fight for ages, and first Vulture lost to lasers. Part of the problem was that I didn't take seriously the two or three eagles that were attacking me at the same time.

(I have lost vultures to the inside of a space station and the outside of an asteroid, though.)

Almost made that mistake tonight, as well as another. If you see a nice juicy bandit in front of you check your scan results. If it says Wing 1 of 5, check what the other ships are.

2 clippers 2 eagles and a sidewinder. I let an eagle get away. I limped back to the station with less than a minute of air left. 26 hull, no canopy, shields gone, and I was lucky.

I thought the ship hitting me from behind was an eagle while I was taking on the clipper. It was another clipper. The Eagles and sidewinder I didn't even notice till the second clipper went boom.

Situational awareness. Tunnel vision happens. Check the scanner often.

Yep.....

Take the smaller ships seriously if winged.....

Nearly bit the bullet the other night.....

Dismissed the 2 sidewinders in the wing and went straight for the Asp.....

BIG mistake......

Sideys normally last about 10-15 secs if encountered alone.......

But when you are not paying attention and have 2 of them AND an Asp opening up on you, shields disappear pretty quick .....

Took one sidey out...But had a cracked canopy and no shields...So legged it with about 40% hull......

Tor.....Hold on.......Tor.......Wait a bit.....TOR will you stop fecking firing.......Ok......Tor I know a therapist that can help you....... :D My Cmdr also has small feet

Lost my first ship the other day to a python. Just bought me a brand new Viper (coming from an Eagle) should've spent the time to get used to the decrease in maneuverability. I flew straight into the wanted python trying to keep him in my sights and left me with a 26% hull and no canopy :( definitely get used to a new ship before pulling off any moves that you were once used to.

Got in a similar situation the other day with a Python. I saw it was in a wing, but I expected 2 Sideys, as usual. They were Vipers. My shields were down before I realized my mistake.

I finally managed to get them by boosting away and taking the Vipers out one by one before coming back for the Python. But that was a close one!

Would be handy to be able to have some info about a ship without having to unselect your current target first!

When bounty hunting at RES, Load few tons of Platinium, Gold, or another precious metals on board. Those "I see all!" NCP:s will always attack you first. You're acting like NPC Magnet. You can use that log off - log in trick to "choose" witch size opponents you have to deal it.

When mining at RES, you can use that log off - log in trick to choose smaller ships to bug you. Asp vs. Sidewinder is always less risky than Asp vs. Anaconda.
