Elite: Dangerous PvE - Mobius

Hi guys. I'm a new addition to the Eurasia group on PC. Is there a 'best practice' approach to the in game friends list in ED? ie, should I be adding all 10 thousand members to my friends list (and if so, is there an easy way to do this?!), or do I just add as I encounter players randomly in game?

I'd love to know your approach to this. o7 cheers

I would, for simplicity sake to add as oppertunity strikes.

There is no quick way to do this, and of course probably 9000+ of those commanders on the list is no longer active players.
