Engineers spreadsheet (kinda)

Postby raorn » Sun May 06, 2018 5:03 pm

Sharing my Engineers template. You can easily find which engineer does what and till what grade.

Also you can use this sheet to plan blueprint pinning. You can only pin one blueprint per module and one blueprint per engineer, so if you decide to pin sonething, you can't pin anything from same row and from same column.

You can apply special effect at any grade if it not exceeds engineer possibilities, so pin blueprints for far-away engineers first. For example, Felicity Farseer can apply Thrusters experimental effect if it is engineered to G3 or lower, so it is worth pinning G5 Thrusters at Prof. Palin once and never ever visit him again in his Fortress of Solitude.

It is also worth pinning blueprints that does not have any experimental effects. If you want to upgrade Plasma Accelerators, you'd go to Bill Turner for special effects, so it worth pinning Sensors or DSS.

I'm not a Google Sheets expert, so it's very basic sheet, without interactive stuff with auto-graying-out columns and rows and details from module blueprints and stuff, so if you know how to make it better - please share.

Multiple blueprints per module are allowed, I have dirty drives pinned from Palin, and clean drives from Martuuk.
Dirty deeds done dirt cheap for reasonable prices

You are both correct in a way.

a blueprint is considered to contain all the levels from 1 to 5.

I am also sorry but what is the point of this?
Using the market connector to upload your storage and access automatically to Inara and well using Inara for engineering is far easier than self managing a spread sheet.

I'm a console peasant, we don't have market connectors.

When i saw "playstation" i avoided mentionning EDengineer

But for PC players, that's the most complete engineering help i tested so far. It lists everything you have in your hold, your favorite blueprints, you can make a "shopping list" of materials you need and it updates as you go.

Faster than Inara + notepad IMHO :)
