Wrong......
As said in Beta ALL options are turned on.....
That is....Verbose.....Reportsent letters and reportreceived letters.......
In normal play you can turn these off......

Never checked my beta logs.
I'll keep an eye on them now

Hmm, I do not have beta access and as for the normal netlogs I regularly clean them because I upload them at Inara where they are being stored as Flight logs. The journals are a bit of a problem, if I clean them some programs that rely on them go a bit cuckoo.
