Elite: Dangerous PvE - Mobius

Hello,
I am looking to find out how I go about embedding images in the Commander's log section of Inara?
Do I have to upload my image to an image sharing site 1st?
I've tried uploading my image to the Inara gallery and then clicking on direct link, copying the address on my brower's address bar and then pasting it into the image URL dialog box. But this always gives me a broken link.

Go to settings in Inara
Click in the new image box in the Profile Image section
Choose the image you want from your hard drive (150x150 .pgn or .jpg)
Click save in Inara

Thanks, but I'm not looking to change my profile pic.
I'm trying to embed an image into my Commander's log (Commander's Diary.) Do I have to put it up on imgur 1st?

Ah, oh, oops, totally misunderstood, sorry

I uploaded them to Inara gallery, then when you click on the image there is a button "direct link" I think. I used that to show the image in the web browser then copied the URL of the image to use to insert the post.

Hope this isn't to confusing!

Thanks for help. I tried doing the same thing but it keeps giving me a broken link symbol instead so displaying the image in the post. Are you just supposed to copy something like "http://inara.cz/gallery/..."?

Managed to do it using imgur.com though.
