Elite: Dangerous PvE - Mobius

Hello Commanders,

I am using Captain's Log to log my travels and explorations. Since the update to 1.5 it seems not to recognize the information of the log file anymore. Tried to delete the captainslog.cfg file in the app-folder and reset the folder locations. I am running ED via steam.
Anyone else got these problems?

If you are using the 64Bit version instead of the 32, the log files are in another place. See THIS post from the author on how to change it. But you have to point it to the new logfiles location which is in a different folder.

On my FD bought install, it is in

C:\Users\YourUsername\AppData\Local\Frontier_Developments\Products\elite-dangerous-64\Logs

Where it used to be:

C:\Users\YourUsername\AppData\Local\Frontier_Developments\Products\FORC-FDEV-D-1010\Logs

If that doesn't work, you have to talk to Genar-Hofoen on the FD Forums in this Thread.

The update probably changed your AppConfig file and turned off verboselogging.

Captains Log will change Verbose logging on if it is off. Most good Third Party utils will do that. I always backup my files since I have a weird Network issue that if I don't have set right means I can't chat or see other people even if they are right next to me.

ScreenShotChanger can do that now as well

Really? Never noticed. I did change the paths manually last night but never even thought to see if it would do the Verbose thingy since I do that manually.

Yep, as of v 1.2. It will also fire up the ED Launcher and (as of ten minutes ago) my current version can also launch the game itself. More testing to do and then you can have a play.
