EDScout :- anyone had this issue?

Does anyone use EDScout? I would imagine quite a few, but I keep having to close-relaunch it as it keep not seeing me having made a hyperjump between stars so it gets lost/stuck.
Has anyone else had this happen? is there something i need to do to make it better or is this just how it is.
Its a damned good exploration side-app to be honest.. simple and gives me just the right info without over loading an entire screen with other info..
OR..
is there an alternative? (i've got eddiscovery too btw)
