[Wing CMDR list] Friendly Fight Club
Posted: Mon Feb 27, 2017 7:28 am
After the first feedback from the thread here, I would like to start a Club dedicated thread here for the "friendly PvP sparring club". We can just collect all who are interested to drop their names here and add them to our friend lists, and organize events here as well.
If it blooms, I would suggest to arrange for an own voice channels at Discord (ideally two, one for each wing).
Discussion about the FFCnot here but in this thread over here please. Thanks!

Rules:
- The FFC is about both having fun and honing flight and fight skills, not winning.
- All Combatants agree upon rules set aforehand. If nothing else is agreed upon, the following rules apply.
- Thus, goal is not to destroy another player, but to be better (see below). Save credits and frustration, have more fun. Don't bring only you best ship but the one you want to try.
- Opposing wings should be balanced before start.
- All actual fighting takes place in a Private Group (or Open) separate from Mobius.
- Any ship may be brought to the Fight Club, depending on the type:
—Engineer: All engineer upgrades allowed.
—Classic: Only un-engineered ships - Staging places can be anywhere. Focus should lie on the starter and Mobius systems (Rafferty's, Eravate, LHS 3447 etc.)
- The fighting should take place away from shipping lanes or stations to avoid "misunderstandings".
- Report Crimes have to be Off.
- Any player who drops below 50% hullmay utter whether they want to continue or yield. They may not be attackeduntil they stated their intentions or continue attacking themselves. Yielding is very much apprecieted though.
Yielding:
- Any player may yield at any time and may not be attacked further.
- Yielding players retract their hardpoints and notify all other players, repeatedly if necessary (others might otherwise not see it)
- Yielding players make a runner from the conflict area and wake out as quickly as possible, re. reboot/repair and leg it.
- Note that you still might loose your ship due to accidential ramming, overpowered fire or unawareness. This is okay, but bring enough for a rebuy.
