Looking for an armed wingman

Hey there. Hope I'm posting this in the right section. If not, sorry about that.

I'm looking for someone who feels like protecting my T6. III from space pirates and other npc enemies. I can fly, sure, but why not help each other out? You will most likely not have to do that much anyway, since encounters are kinda rare. It is probably not as profitable as bounty hunting (yet), but safer.

Current ship:
Type-6 Transporter
108 tonne capacity
Jump range: 18.75 LY

Hi. I think it might be better under the wing commanders section but I expect a mod will take care of that.

What areas do you fly in and what is the required jump range?

I figured I was at the wrong section. Tough luck I guess. Dear mod: I apologize for the inconvenience, but be a dear and move this when you see it. Thanks in advice.

Unladen: 10.71
Laden: 9.71 (and most used one)
Maximum range is 46.76 ly for one of the routes.
And I am currently flying in and near the Badia system. Found a nice route there with enough profit for 2 commanders.

I'm not too far from there so, if we can time it right I'll try and join you for a few runs. I have well armed combat ships that can take care of any pirate entanglements... feel free to add my CMDR name to your in-game friend list and I'll look out for you :)

Well, I'd be quite honored to have you around, but I insist on the payment. It just doesn't feel right to not give you anything in return.
Now then. How do I add you? Not gonna lie. Never had a wingman before.

-Edit-
Scratch that. I figured it out. Just gonna finish one mission and then add you.

you are aware that being part of a wing already pays? if you are at the same station as someone in your wing when you sell your cargo they get a trade dividend for having escorted you safely there. i have no ide what the bonus is in smaller ships but if you are in a T9 selling 496 tonnes of cargo at around 1200 per tonne profit your wing-mates will each get a payout of about 30,000.

And it shows again just how much I have to learn. Thanks for the info. Is there a way to change how much wingmans get through this?

the only way of changing the amount is trading for a higher/lower profit per tonne or trading a higher/lower number of tonnes or adding more members to the wing.

if for example your 3 wing mates are all in 500 tonne T9's you will get 90k or more every time they sell at a station that you are at. (again based on 1200 per tonne profit) as you can imagine it soon mounts up.

there are also a couple of other bonuses of being in a wing, the first is that if you get interdicted its easy for your wing to quickly come to your aid, even if they are a hyperspace jump away and if one of you (usually the fastest ship) goes on ahead they can set the wing beacon and everyone else can jump in and go from hyperspace to dropping out at the station in a few seconds.
