The galaxy servers for all platforms will be coming down Thursday morning at 07:00 UTC for the 3.1 Elite Dangerous: Beyond - Chapter Two update

The downtime is expected to last for approximately 9 hours.

There is a chance that this could run over, so we really appreciate your patience. As usual with these updates we'll keep you as up to date as possible.

As always.. make sure you have a backup of your keybinding!!

Elite Dangerous keybind location

Found at:
%localappdata%\frontier developments\elite dangerous\options\bindings

Copy the folder called Bindings to a safe location

When the new patch is downloaded, then start the game per normal and check if your controls work and your custom keystrokes are working. If yes, hurray not further action needed, go play

If they are NOT working or are reverted to Elite default.. then shut down the game and launcher.
Take your copy of the Bindings folder and navigate to the above folder and paste it in. It will ask for an overwrite confirmation..choose yes to this option.

Start the game again and recheck. It should be fine now.
