Put pulses on the smaller hardpoints and multicannons on the large.
Capable of chewing up quite a bit.

Significantly better manouverabillity in regular space, possibly on par with cutter but less drifty.
Like the t9, excellent thruster response.
Unlike the t9, you can fit a class 8 power plant, so if you got that class 8 prismatic shields feel free.
PDS should honestly have been a 7, this will not become a laser boat.
Cockpit is identical to the t9, not a huge surprise.

It could have also benefited greatly from a larger FSD.

I knew it........Just after I bought and engineered "Unfinished Business" they bring out a new ship.....Bleh.....

Moment I saw it was available......

I knew you'd have one......

:D

It's not like I got anything else to do with my 4.1 billion pocket change.
But unlike the beluga this could actually be slightly usefull.
Bit like a giant Keelback with conda level DPS.

I've got mine up to 29.9Ly, but only had enough materials for a single throw.

But it's so slow and heavy - can't see any improvement over a T9 - and such a big target.

There's a lot of overhead on the power supply, so lots of big guns.

Same here walter. 29. But I swapped over my DD3 thrusters and it made a difference. Gonna try to go for DD4s.

I'm at 34.5 LY right now with dual SRV bay, fighter hangar, armoured oversized PP that can run the essentials on 40% power output, A-rated shield, scanners (grade 5 fast on the DSS), repair limpet controller, and A-rated life support. Still need to do light weight mods on life support and sensors. I expect to get beyond 35 LY once I am done with that.

If you strip it, you should be able to get 36-37 LY out of it. In other words, slightly worse than an Imperial Cutter, which is no big surprise since it has the same size FSD as the cutter, but about 100 tons more hull mass.

Still waiting for Coriolis to support the Type-10. For the records, minimum shield is a class 6, minimum PD that allows boosting is an unmodded 5D or a 4D with a really good engine focus grade 3. Minimum PP is class 3 or class 4 depending on the fuel scoop, a class 5 will be able to handle the 8A scoop and sensors/thrusters/fsd/life support at 40% output. SC handling is between cutter and conda, normal space handling with exploration thrusters is definitely better than Conda or Cutter.

Thanks for this.

And handles better than Conda you say. Nice.

Hmm, starting to think I might have missed something if you say the FSD class is comparable to the cutter.

Yup, I put a size 6 in a 7 slot.

Now that's what you call a nice surprise. :)
