Heads up CMDRs!

A little reminder about this week’s community goals:

This week’s community goals are to get new Thargoid specific modules helping Professor Palin with his special Thargoid scanner and Liz Ryder with a special anti Thargoid weapon

But..

The results of these community goals will determine the availability of the new Thargoid specific modules!

The higher the tier, the more stations these will be available at.

The DEADLINE for these community goals is: SEP 28, 3303 15:00 UTC

But there is also the Elite:Dangerous v2.4 Release on September 26th, which means losing one day to work on the CGs!

It's in all our interest to make sure these CGs end in their high tiers, so we will be able to learn more about the Thargoids and we’ll be able to defend ourselves!

Go and start hauling CMDRs!.. and fly safely! o7

I did notice these were moving rather slowly. Let me guess there isn't as much profit as usual? :lol:
The way people won't do anything in this game unless it involves max credits per hour is astounding. We should start calling ourselves the ferengi!

FD is simply doing it for the hype.

They will release exactly the kind of toys and goodies we need regardless of how this cg fares.
And it's not like it's failing.

Not reaching tier 8 in 28 hours of start is not the same as "failing".

Same toys, just the locations we can get them at will vary. Will be interesting to see if any non-planet based locations come up.
That made me wonder who will be able to interact with the Thargoids. Most of the content has been 'Horizons' only but were the hyperdictions only happening to those that bought Horizons?
If anyone only has the base game I wonder if they might
a) never see a Thargoid, or
b) never get the equipment to fight them?

Well lookie here! I made it into the 10th percentile! See, Alliance hippies can be helpful too, at times :D
I bet that my position is for my general ship class and that I will loose it by the end of the CG but I'm a little proud, nonetheless.

I saw you do a few runs up there hehe

I am still in the 50% with my anaconda, so you worked that CG real good !
Time for me to get back to it.. i hope we can unlock some space station availability before tomorrow. only 24h left
