I did not expect there to be nearly 20% of players with less than 8 weeks playing. Also did not expect myself to be in a 1% age group :( lol

I'm in the 3% age group....I thought that age range would have been a bit higher....

I did let out a little chuckle when I saw the CQC results....

And interesting on the Open....Solo....Private stats.....

I think that Mobius draws a much more mature crowd than the average E-D player though. At least it feels like we have a lot of 40-60 year old players in our group.

I suspect reddit users are a 'bit young'.
I don't even have an account there.

The post about results states that it is a factor. FD would not allow the survey to be posted to the main forums, so that hindered it as well.

As in any "poll" or "survey", the are lies, damn lies, and statistics. And you can get any result you want if you try hard enough.

The survey has lots of flaws in it, you certainly wouldn't be allowed to submit it as a piece of academic work.

Multiple choice questions are inherently flawed without a ranking system for each answer, atmosphere planets came top, but that could simply because everyone ticked it, not because it's the top priority for anyone.

62% of respondents said they were an explorer, but what defines an explorer, a dedicated explorer would argue that it's someone who spends months at a time away from the bubble, but I doubt that 62% of people do that, especially given that 57% are also bounty hunters

It's an interesting read, little more.

Yes I agree, and the part that asks that question about roles should have had a choice for Multi-role or something similar, as speaking for myself I am a jack of all trades, I like having a go at them all like a merry go around I keep swapping. I have a feeling that many ED players are the same, but the only option for such players was the 'Other' category, or to try and squeeze yourself into a section that maybe you do fractionally more.

Also, did someone say old? I may not be the oldest here, but I think I am probably in the last 2% or 3% of oldest members here. But really, it matters not, I hope I can still enjoy ED Mk 50 when I am 85.
