I did pretty much that today actually - dumped the Viper for the good ol' Type-9 again 
Been running personal weapons from LHS 2819 to Eranin, then occasionally heading off the other way to Tilian to pick up basic meds and drop them off at Azeban before heading off to haul more weapons.
Purely for the cause of course, nothing to do with the obscene profit margins that come with warfare, dear me no!
