ED v SC is a pretty decent marketing tool for both games, any publicity being good publicity and all that. If I was going to guess I would say there probably is a friendly rivalry between Braben and Roberts but they did a series of videos together during the kickstarter so they are obviously pretty friendly. It keeps both games in the media and it gives the keyboard warriors something to type about!

For those of you that miss Wing Commander, you should visit the link at the bottom of the page. Wing Commander Saga was developed with volunteer developers and is just as good as the series, there are Easter eggs in the game, the last being the best, I will not spoil it by saying anything. I have completed it and I loved it.
