This is heading to - you're not gonna be able to cope on your own with future content - whilst I like the idea of teaming up, I also remember trying to run a 10 man raid in world of Warcraft - with doors, phones, girlfriends, kids, food, drink, cats, toilets, you get the picture lol - it can be a pretty drawn out time commitment to achieve probably an hour or two of solid game play

LFS option with the ability to drop in is very positive tho, as having been 10k ly out a break is often needed and cqc isn't always what I desire to fill in - can't wait :)

I still don't really get this, why would you have a game where you can fly a ship but think 'nah, i'll man the weapons of someone elses'? NPC crew would be a better idea. This just feels another way they (Frontier) are trying to shoehorn in multiplayer elements to a game that really isn't meant to be multiplayer - just one pilot against the galaxy.

Still although it is something I may not partake it (unless Lor, you want to let the shoot your guns - 'oops didn't see you there Dawg, it was Lor honest!' hehe) there are lots of people who will like it so there is that :) I'll just take what ever bug fixes can be passed through with it...

Considering how Lori and dawg now has gotten regeneration sequence on their beam turrets, that would work more favourably than you would think.

Can't say I am looking forward to this, I would have liked some form of NPC crew members to make the ship feel fuller. As I don't tend to see many other Cmdr's about due to the times I play. But my main gripe is that people complained when you could have a ship delivered to you instantly and everybody complained that it broke the feel of the game. And quite rightly you have to wait a time depending on distance etc. So what do they make this so you can instantly move to a friends ship which could be anywhere in the galaxy.

i know its a game, but it seems they have ignored the fact people want some form of realism.

Oh well at least I get to create my Cmdr, am looking forward to that.

As for immersion I agree.

But on a game play level, this is the only way this feature could work AT ALL !

I'm not super stoked about this, honestly I was more excited about the interim patch features and bug fixes than this malarkey.

Dawg has almost killed Kharma forgetting his regen beams were on another ship, so "All of this has happened before, and all of this will happen again..."

I was honoured as it takes HUGE BRASS KAHUNAS to fly with us. That, and a bunch of Rebuys :P
