Probably overkill for the current use in game though and some horrendous boy racer leathers.[/quote]

Aye, did look a bit mid-90's PowerRanger!

Can't fit into mine these days and can't even give them away! :D

Anyway, I was delighted with what we have seen so far in particular the new camera. Gorgeous.
I have no interest in Multicrew but now I will be watching for more surprises Thursday.

I think it may save MANY of us a lot of time. Or I could just unleash my wife the Artist on it to match my AV in my sig pics since she did that one as well. (I think she was trying to show me what she gave up on to marry a dodgy old cout like me :P )

I expect you can crew a ship , and use the cameras as you please while the owner flies normally.

Which is good since I have no interest of putting turrets on my ships so a gunner wouldn't have anything else to do anyway.

Also the creator seemed quite similar to the one for planet coaster, just merely re skinned and different art assets.

That's smart and efficient. It'd be pretty stupid to develop something completely different for two current generation games - you know, from the same company. FD, please spend your time on new content and not reinventing the wheel.

I had pretty low expectations and was mildly surprised by the stream. It actually has me looking forward to what MC has to offer.

And Walter, you're not nearly jaded enough compared to Tor and Lori. ;)
It's time to give this another go.

You can't improve on nature.

But in your case, Nature might have to make an exception.

I certainly don't blame them for it, in fact I would applaud it.
It's good business to be able to re-use work already done, it's quite nearly free money.

What I seem to find suprisingly is all the hoopla , I don't see nothing I didn't exactly expect to see.
Am I going to spend an hour playing around with it, yes most likely.
Like I have with, oblivion, skyrim, eve, saints row, 2 through 4, mass effect 1,2, and 3 etc etc.

Actually I think I prefer the push pull creator in eve-online, but that's really just another interface on a slider, and since elite needs to be fully controlled with a controller, mouse only inputs such as that would be a waste of effort.

Hey! I resemble that remark :P

Make sense that they would use the Planet Coaster maker since they are both on the same engine. And if that is the case, wait until we get to walk around with crowds, we are in for a treat. Just take a look at what they can do with Planet coaster.

Then that leads to speculation.... Base Building? They can already do that via Planet Coaster so it may be in the cards.

Building bases with pre-built assets... check
Terra forming for said bases... check
Economy management for local bases... check
Transportation systems... check

Imagine you build a base on a planet or asteroid (we hope that comes soon) that you run. Its local economy filters into the bases main economy to feed into the BGS to allow our base to then support itself for others to use for missions, commodities, ships and modules. There is an outbreak, so all your population then changes appearance and movement based on whatever sickness they have. Is it in Boom? People have better clothes, more credits to pay at your Space Food Stand. Civil war? Maybe there is damage and fighting in the streets (so to speak).

I can see this happening.
