I've got the afternoon off so that works out nicely. He says with huge optimism that he'll be able to download it and that the servers won't curl up and die instantly.

I believe the appropriate response goes something like "Squeeee!"

This is it, a whole year of training since Alpha and I still fly like a fried haddock being flung through space by a catapult. I didn't think I would be very excited about today but I actually am. Really looking forward to the full release and the turmoil that is about to hit my beloved Empire.

I was exploring over 500LY from Sol last night but managed to get back to within 150 just in case any shenanigans are occurring for launch day. I'll probably hang around known space for a week or so to meet and greet the new influx.

So excited!
