Mobius Groups, how do i join?

Please fill out the Mobius player registration sheet to join, PC users should also submit an in game request to join their desired group, Xbox users will get an invite to the group in game.

By filling out the sheet you agree to our terms and conditions and to abide by our community rules while playing in one of the mobius groups.

How to join the Elite: Dangerous Mobius PvE groups from a PC or Mac:

Due to the size limit of group members are only permitted to join a single main group.
the main groups are called: MOBIUS PVE AMERICA- AMERICAS (North/South/USA/Canada etc)
or MOBIUS PVE EURASIA - (Europe, Middle East, Africa/AsiaPacific/Oceania/Australia/China/Korea/New Zealand etc)

Those wishing to support our player faction also have the option of joining "Mobius Factions" as well as one of the main groups

Start the game from the launcher as usual
Choose "FRIENDS AND PRIVATE GROUPS" from the MAIN MENU
Click the "GROUPS" tab
Click "SEARCH GROUPS"
Enter "MOBIUS PVE AMERICA", "MOBIUS PVE EURASIA" or "Mobius Factions" and click "SEARCH"

You may find other groups with "Mobius" or "PVE" in it or similar.
Our groups are simply "MOBIUS PVE AMERICA", "MOBIUS PVE EURASIA" or "Mobius Factions"

The "MOBIUS PVE AMERICA", "MOBIUS PVE EURASIA" or "Mobius Factions" group should appear below

click "REQUEST JOIN" to it's right

Please repeat this procedure if you also want to join "Mobius Factions"

You will be accepted into the Group manually, so please be patient, provided you have followed all the steps our admin team will accept you as soon as they are able but please keep in mind that only one person has access to the admin functions of each group and they do so as volunteers, the occasional delay is to be expected.

To PLAY in the group...

Start the game from the launcher as usual
Click START
Click PRIVATE GROUP
Click the Mobius group you joined and the game will start.

FD have said that they are making some changes to groups with the next update so hopefully we will be able to make space in the original group then

Is FD really going to do this? Every time it seems to come up, it's seems like it's not a high priority for them and/or there are serious refactoring issues with the matching.

if not we will need to open another account to use to create a third group.

Do we want to just go to 3? As I brought up before, why not nail it down by UTC on 6 hour (4 groups) or 4 hour (6 groups)?

... are we big enough to consider at least four (4) groups? I'm still new around here, but it would make more sense if we created them based on typical on-line time, instead of region? Say ...

I used 6 hour blocks for the 4 groups, and it's to be considered a "loosely."
Instead, we could also do 6 groups of 4 hour blocks too ... also very "loose" in blocking.

Mobius 0004: UTC 00-04:00 => ACT 10-14:00, CET 01-05:00, USEST 19-23:00, USPST 16-20:00

Mobius 0408: UTC 04-08:00 => ACT 14-18:00, CET 05-09:00, USEST 23-03:00, USPST 20-00:00

Other than the group admins having to approve new members, I think we could go ahead and try the 4 (or even 6 ...) groups and see how many move over. Then slowly, as more members join, start asking people to drop from the two (2) current groups. I think it's worth the experiment, as long as the group admins don't mind the overhead.

Otherwise, forget I said anything.

I tried quitting the group about 2 months ago. I was out, but magically was back in later. I'll try again and see if it sticks. I won't have a use for Mobius unless I move back to the bubble, and then, only if it is a single massive group - not a bunch of small groups where you will almost never see another player outside of CGs and popular systems. Come on FD - get your shit together or offer an effing Open PvE server!

Seems that Möbius' situation is now overflowing onto the the other forum.
Hope it gets resolved with the next update. I think Möbius PvE is also reaching max cap no?

Just logged on, Mobius group at 19,995 members is current status.
What happens next?
