You can flip around pretty quickly in an upgraded cobra with flight assist off and boost manipulation. You definitely can't fight like that beside stations though! Nice trailer, sadly the wings stuff that they show here won't be in at launch. They desperately need the grouping mechanics.

When have you ever fired on a station and not been totally obliterated?

Definitely not meant for the regular Elite crowd. They should have just made a slow trailer like they have been up to this point. If someone ever asks me for a nice ED trailer, I personally link them the Orbis Station reveal trailer.

I enjoyed that.... I think it was a really good trailer. Now someone mentioned a cartoon. What a brilliant idea. A film, based in the Elite universe.......
Who do you reckon should make it?

Wow! What a BS trailer. Nicely done though. Slow all the space scenes down about 65% and it would be almost believable as gameplay footage.

The Video used at E3 was much better and represnted the game a lot more in my opinion.

Yes, it does not reflect the actual gameplay, and can give viewers a wrong view of the game.
But..
This is a cinematic trailer. No Cinematic trailer have ever been accurate to the content of the product it advertises. Whether its a movie or a game. The point of a cinematic trailer is that it should be cool and exciting, so that it catches the viewers attention.
Remember there is a lot of other trailers out there, including a TV trailer which is already released I think, which depict gameplay. And it probably will be released a gameplay trailer to coincide with the launch as well. That is standard games advertising.
So the real question is.. Would it make you interested enough to search youtube or the net for more information?
For me, I think it would.
