I would love to get my hands on an Asp. Even if just for a few weeks. I love that wrap around canopy. 8-)

They certainly are. I could afford an Anaconda. Can't remember the exact percentage, but they're LOTS cheaper.
You also have access to all ship types, whatever faction you're with.

I believe they are ten percent of normal.
If you are lacking in funds your old ships are still worth full price so I can sell my 600 mil corvette and rebuy it for 60, if I want.

This is also reflected in insurance so dying is 10% of normal to since that's a function purchasing price.

Sweeet. My next obvious question would be..Does that new ship transfer over after beta or do you go back to your old one?

Your current save is unaffected beta, it is literally true that what happens in beta stays in beta.

The beta save is taken from anow earlier snapshot of your regular game, usually a few days from when beta starts.
And the beta option on the launcher accesses this save instead of the regular one.
And once beta ends, that save is deleted.

There is no point to grind rank or wealth in beta since it will be gone so all there is is to try new stuff and have some fun.

I again recommend finding a bunch in ts or discord etc, only thing more fun than jumping off a cliff in an srv is doing with a half drunk redneck while, a fully drunk Norwegian is shooting multicannons
Around and 'near' you.

Just curious, do they have advertisements for Lost Wages/Las Vegas in Norway?
It's time to give this another go.

Highly doubt it.
I replaced my TV access with Internet and streaming services quite a few years ago.
But last time I visited someone who was watching tv the only commercials I saw where for online casinos and quick sms/consumer loans to pay off the casino debt, I assume.
Seriously.

So I suppose it's somewhat close to the same deal ;)

I'm OK with that. The opportunity to test drive possible future ship purchases and get a sneak peak at the new features is still worth it, IMHO.
