I think it lost 3% due to interdiction failure - the rest was down to weapons damage.

Had I been the NPC aggressor and knowing that the fighter had limited travel options, I would have kept going at the mother ship, which was already in a bad way.

But perhaps that's the wrong perspective.

Yeah my assumption is it was two devs making an agreed upon demo and as such has no semblance of a "real world" scenario.

And is it me or is this guy just a shit pilot or what, seems almost as he was playing with only a keyboard. (That might actually be the case)

Dawg and Kharma would easily fly circles around both of them and they are the very definition of old farts ;)

I think the Python may have rammed him to get his shields down - maybe on accident. ;)

Sure Dawg could fly in a circle but would have been even slower getting "the puppies " out aka hard points.

Again it is a demo filmed for the benefit of showing off what they have, not really based on in game reality.

I really do like the premise and promise of the fighters. It has made me consider rebuying a Cutter for the double fighter bays.

The real fun is when multi crew drops and you have 2 buddies in the fighters and another in the Buggy and you are all attacking a base, or beating up on a wing. That will be fun.

Also, since you cannot hire an Elite NPC pilot, there is a little more incentive to save your ship if your fighter pilot has ranked up.

Have to admit it, this is more interesting to me than Engineers by a HUGE amount.
