I've been heading in the general direction of Jaques, collecting Black Holes and such along the way.
Just wondering how much will be operational at the station by the time I get there. It would be useful to be able to sell exploration data without going back to the bubble.
About 7k to go now....

I am going there for the 4th with mining ship this time. without limpets, just full of commodities. I am betting that restock will be possible afterwards. Otherwise well....

I am used to travel with jump range of at least 32ly and now, with 19, it is really insanity.

That and I hope there is a ship repairing service when I get there. My ship is in really bad shape! Jumped in the middle of two twin stars and almost burnt everything in my ship. Later I was scooping fuel from a star and the temperature strangely went too high that some circuits fried right away, including the cargo hatch AD Scanner and FSD drive, which is malfunctioning a lot. I don't know what type of star it was and I forgot to take note.... ouch!

Second time in Jaques now, came back from about 1.5kly toward the core now that I could repair and sell data.

17m cr and from 37% Pathfinder to 5% Ranger later I'm ready to head off to Sag A and maybe see what's going down in Beagletown once I'm done...

I went from Azrael to Jacques Station and back. Picked up 30m cr from the round trip, the lion's share of it coming from the neutron starfields which abound in local space around the Station. Forgot to wait around to complete the CG. Oops! I guess I should look at that as motivation to go back out.

Is there a Universal Cartographics outlet at Jacques Station? I didn't notice, as I was intent on returning the exploration data to Azrael.

You do not have to do that for the CG pay-out, it is automatic after two weeks. But going out there is fun.

The UC and contacts menus at Jaques were restored when the repair CG completed.

Thanks Cometborne, good information to have! I decided to go back out there anyway. Serendipitously, Jacques station was looking for exploration data, so it worked out well.
