Do a little search, and check out the "News items" presented when docked in station 80 DD-D 774-CE-2 (aka Jaques Station). They all talk of very strange things happening. Here are two of the messages:

Here he is talking about how he went in and out of witch space, and lost all track of time. And the most ominous is his statement "but when you're out there they sing, and then they find you." These are not rational explanations of what went wrong, but rather the initial thoughts of someone who experienced something very out of the ordinary, and very scary.
Something very bad happened to Jaques during his jump!

Now, compare that to the "official" interview done with Jaques in Galnet after he was found. This is very lowkey, talking about how he experienced some issues and decided to just find a safe system to "park" in. He says that he experienced some issues with his FSD, but no mention of anything beyond system issues.

The discrepancies between the two descriptions of the events that took place indicate that something has happened to "Jaques" between the time he entered his current system, and when he made his official Galnet statements. There is no way the same "entity" made both the emergency signals (ie local news items) and the Galnet interview. That means, the "entity" we currently call Jaques is NOT the Jaques that left the bubble and made those initial emergency calls.

So please, observe what is going on in that system, but do not "feed the monster". You are not helping Jaques if you do, you are helping something completely different.

And if you go out there to take a look; bring guns, lots and lots of guns! Winter is coming, and it looks like that is the coldest place in the galaxy right now!

No guns and i´m still 12k ly away from sol and not heading back to get some. Got no meta alloys with me, only some food (15t). Now i am only more curious to get to Jaques.
