the only way that undesirable players that have been blocked from our group can re-enter is to purchase a new account, sure some may do this but each time it happens their account will be blocked, and as we have seen the damage they do is extremely minimal and just ends up being a pointless venture.

Good to hear about the extra tools for security. After my experience in Azrael the other night, I was a bit anxious today when I returned and a CMDR in a Federal Corvette shadowed me for a bit, mass locking me. You can imagine my thoughts as I boosted away. I assume it was someone just checking me out. Nevertheless, I will not let these wasters affect my play style and will continue as normal.

As a newer member I can see the logic of the changes. Some people will end up in a server that's wrong for them, but I'm sure this will correct itself over time. This will certainly give the group as a whole space to grow which can only be a good thing.

As to the people buying more accounts to join and cause trouble, if some folks hold that much of a grudge they want to spend more money and thus further support ED then fine let them. It can only be more money for development. They will soon be found, reported and banned from both groups (and from any others which come later). I see it this way, using an old saying, "A fool and his money are soon parted". OK the person or persons getting hit will have (hopefully) a short term blip in their playing experience, but, if I remember correctly, FD did say they would look at correcting losses due to this sort of action on a case by case basis. If it happens to me I will certainly make an attempt of raising a ticket to recover loses on a totally outmatched attack.

May both groups and our combined player base continue to grow and evolve. Good luck and Fly Safe.

Both excited and sad to see this development. Coming of age has always been a two-edged thing. But at least , no matter the split, it is still one EDverse and one Mobius community.

the move will be handled by frontier, im assuming that asia may fall in with the eu time zone, but I don't know what frontier base their time zones from. so we will all find out tomorrow.
