I agree that this is needed. It took a while to realise I had to put in a friend request to join the group as I was going to the Groups menu and trying to join there. Glad I did though.

You actually do join the group in the groups menu! Enter Mobius in the "search for group" field and then request to join on the correct result: "Mobius".
You now are probably just friends with Moius, which is good in itself, but not enough to play in the group.

Oh right. Cheers for that. I must have done that somehow without realising it as Mobius is one of the 'Groups you are a member of'. I'm new to online gaming (unless you count Gran Turismo with a couple of mates on the PS3) and am learning it all as I go along.

its still roughly 8 members a day, im intrested to know how far this will go,
when i first started the group i never had a number in mind but didnt think that it was going to be as popular as it has been, and im also very happy that your forum is also being put to good use.

Still need to say thanks to Wolf for getting the forum up and running, I had a go at doing it but managed to delete the default profile which made the forum unuseable. ill just stick to my art stuff in future.

It would be nice to get to the number of people such that it would be easy to find group Cmdr members to fly with on any given evening. I think we are perhaps already in that number of people.

I am guessing for about one year after release we could get over 5000 group members.

I think that after release the uptake could go up dramatically. It also depends on how well star citizen does at making the game as if that goes badly a really lot may jump ship.

Yes, that would be great. It also looks like most of the ones joining now are also joining this great forum.
The others probably don't know about it yet.
I am confident word of mouth will get the information to them also sooner or later when the majority of the new group members are here.
