having more commanders join the community will ensure that we get to the front page, currently we are top of the second page.

also I would like to say thanks to Nanosmo who has been promoted to Steam moderator, Nanosmo will be adding content for discussion so please feel free to post comments.

does anyone know for sure whether the stand-alone ED and Steam version can live together? i.e. if i were to buy the Steam ED, will i have 2 commanders? or will one override the other and i'll only have one? i might fork out another 60 bucks if i can have 2 commanders

thanks to Nanosmo who has been promoted to Steam moderator

good move. i owe Nanosmo for those helpful trade routes he posted, they have netted me somewhere around 15 - 18 million so far.

Every purchase of the game will supply you with a new commander. Maybe one day they will let us buy additional accounts for games already purchased for a lower cost, never know.

if you purchase the game from steam you will have two separate account, Frontier are currently looking at supplying everyone who currently owns the game a steam key to activate it on steam, meaning that you will just have the one account.

I've added myself to the group - 'hrdina' on Steam as well as here.

Maybe one day we'll actually play through Steam...

Hoi!

I am not a member of "The Steam" so I am quite ignorant of the features of that scene.
One thing I am wondering about now is:
- (if I ever will aqcuire a Steam account)
- will I miss something/anything in this very game, ie. the Elite Dangerous IF I am going to play the ED solely as a member of our group the Mobius, and when not playing it "from the Steam within"?

In other words,
will there be more content in the game and in the social interaction between the members of the Mobius if I would get a Steam account and attach my ED account to it, compared with the possibilities of those of "a non-Steam-player of the ED"?

Anyways,
Fly Safe, Fellow Commanders!
