I'd make a real motorised one.....
With a button for pedestrians......
That would slow people down.........
Proximity sensors of course.......
To stop people like you activating it for shits n giggles when a car is halfway across....

Look, I may not be the sharpest knife in the drawer, but I ain't no SPOON!
They just made it illegal in Hawaii to stare at your phone for any reason while crossing the street. Too many tourists in WaiKiKi not paying attention and getting run over.
Remember, this is the time on our planet where a pair of Wellies (Rubber Boots) comes with a 14 page instruction book, where your take-away coffee cup says "CAUTION: HOT", and your Hair Dryer has a tag to warn you NOT to use during a shower or bath. No one goes to Nascar race for the race, they are there for the crashes.
Then again, whenever I see those videos of stupid people doing stuff like holding fireworks between their buttcheeks, or standing under a roof while cutting the post holding it up, I laugh so hard at their stupidity.
I guess we all love a car wreck. Oh, and this Guy KILLS me!!!!
