I got this at launch and loved it straight away. As Loriath and smartroad mentioned, it's so relaxing. A great game for wandering, exploring and checking out the outrageous sights with a great soundtrack.

I did put it down after a while (when the NMS backlash was at it's peak) but I knew changes would come. Each update has introduced more and I recently got back into it! I play it in bursts and periodically have a break until the newest update - much like Elite!

But why in the seven black holes did they put a CIF border on the starter system? I think I got antimatter from an Alien as planned, but it disappeared somehow. Now I can't find new , neither at trade stations, nor when speaking to Aliens. It gets on my nerves ...

It feels like if you ask of a new Elite player, "farm 10 Cracked industrial Firmwares to craft your first hyperdrive".
Help!

Hah, currently flying exactly the same. Patched it up from a wreck site. Oh and great name, indeed.

About the Antimatter, I cleared the save, and there it came.

Yep, did that as well. Fixed things. Still annoyed there is no way to permanently mark locations without creating a beacon. Don't know about the rest of the stuff in the update because my man-flu/migraines are still in full force.

I did get far enough to get my base started as per the Artemis line. Amourer, Farmer, Scientist and Overseer in place. Now supposed to do a bunch of crap with them before I can make things. Guess its more time to kill.

Tried it again for a bit on my old ps4.

Quickly remembered why I quit bothering.

Or software, my current mobo reports 130+c in speedfan, but in CPUinfo or others it idles at 29c.
If in doubt I would check BIOS directly, then try a different software.
