BBC model B micro (wasn't called a computer back then but a micro!) in 1984 made Elite for the first time in 1985 at age 35!

Now at 67 years old, I am Elite again! :P

Am I the eldest?

Although ED is not yet available on PS4. At the ripe ole' age of 67, my grand kids turned me on to video games. I fell in love with open world, sandbox space games. Played NMS (No Man's Sky) for 10 hours a day, 6 days a week since its release last July. Altough NMS has its faults (every game does), it lead me to ED. I am now 68, and waiting to play ED.
Fill that, which is empty. Empty that, which is full. Scratch, where it itches.

Month short of my 50th, glad I found this thread as I don't feel so old now.

Started on C64 on first week it came out, never made it to Elite status.
Got Elite +, again didn't make Elite rank...
Got Frontier, finally after year made Elite!
First Encounter got as far as dangerous when RL took me away.

Figure ED should see me through until retirement.
