I have a bad habit of starting an RPG, getting to a point where I seem to loose interest (often just over half way), think 'i'll come back to it' but then have a hard drive fault or Windows error, re-install and loose save data so have to start over again haha.

I think NWN2 has been started about 4/5 times now?! Still haven't finished the original Baulders Gate or Baulders Gate 2 LOL Actually BG1 I didn't finish as I got to a point and couldn't figure out how to carry on LOL

NWN2 was phenomenal. One of the best pc adaptations of D&D. I get the 'I'll get back to it' thing. I've yet too finish AC Brotherhood, AC Revelations, or Witcher 3.

Dang is NWN 2 really 11 years old?

Loved that game. Especially when you learned that shadow reavers don't die, they respawn in the vale. I thought that was one of the coolest things ever. Poor garius, thinking he was a badass but was tricked into serving the king of shadows.

I tried to play the expansion when it came out but I just didn't have the time. Is mask of the betrayer any good?

I remember a part where you try to use a portal that leads to an early area and the portal was diverted or something due to a powerful presence. That was my "shit just got real" moment.
