For us older pilots

Postby Loriath » Tue Apr 19, 2016 10:39 am

Thought I would give you youngin whipper snappers a taste of real music that we listen to now.

We know all the old hits, but we don't listen to it on 11 any more. In fact, I know my hearing is going, as well as my memory, but these songs are still the same old songs I remember even if the Lyrics have changed a little since I was a spry young man with hair....

Too old to Rock and Roll .. too young to die.

Hang in there, older Commanders.

What constitutes as 'older?'

Scooping fuel is very much like making love to a beautiful woman. First check the target is hot enough,
then approach slowly. Once close enough, pull out your scoop and fill her up. After you're done just
gently pull away, turn around and leave.

No idea, but I'm 50, and still feel young .. until my body tells me otherwise.

Maybe old enough to have played the original game, so that would be about 45-50 and up?
It's time to give this another go.

Most of my music was on casette until the mid 90's.

Only very brief few years was spent with CD's until I went mp3...

Something else to consider.
You went outside as a an 8 year old kid and your mom shouts "stay near the house" and she meant "don't go further than two miles".

Rule 2: No such thing as overkill, as long as there are reloads.
