World's Greatest Canadian?

Postby Roger Wilco Jr » Mon Apr 11, 2016 2:00 am

Inspired by MahdDogg's tweet about the Orion voice pack.

William Shatner? Really? He's got the past tense of shit in his name! I think not.

Loriath? He's pretty great, but the greatest? I'll leave that to your judgement.

I knew a girl from Ontario who would go nude at the beach. She was pretty great.

My vote goes to Avril Lavigne. She's the hottest. Yup, I'm a pig.
It's time to give this another go.

HAHAHAHA ME? LMAO!

I knew a girl like that too. Unfortunately her boyfriend was as large as a mountain, twice as tough and very jealous.

Avril? She might be cute, but I think she suffers from a lack of the smarts. Don't hate me, just my opinion.

There are a lot of other choices. How about Terry Fox. Or maybe Martin Short? Some these days may point to Justin Trudeau (the Best Justin from Canada). I am sure that our own Major Tom would even garner a few votes. I would never ever ever nominate these guys for reasons that everyone can understand.

My personal pic would be for Stuart McLean as one of the possible nominees, but I think that our stereotypical mascot would garner more votes.

So many possible choices. Do we have to choose just one or can we just all agree that Canada is just great?

Alanis Morissette does really seem a little light in the top. And tries to compensate by going hard in for the "crunchy/hippy" look.
I prefer Shania Twain if I would say.

As for Lori, well he shot me in the face last Saturday.

Who would have thought it would turn into a sexist thread......

Tricia Helfer might not be the greatest, however I (being of an advanced age) do think she is very attractive.

Being quite a fan of science fiction, how about Robert J Sawyer? I really enjoy his books and his latest offering (Quantum Night) is topping the charts.

Greatest Canadian would be Voivod collectively.

Scooping fuel is very much like making love to a beautiful woman. First check the target is hot enough,
then approach slowly. Once close enough, pull out your scoop and fill her up. After you're done just
gently pull away, turn around and leave.

Geddy Lee was far too low on that list.

Damn, and Neil Peart - the world's greatest drummer - wasn't on it at all.
What's wrong with you Canadians? ;)
It's time to give this another go.
