The Division and The100.io

Wasn't going to buy it, but I did enjoy Destiny when that came out. But got mine free with a Tobii EyeX purchase and for the last 3 days have been unable to put it down, when I should have been playing Elite. Absolutely love it, fantastic game, can't get enough of it right now.

I am thinking about trying The Division. From what I see in the reviews, playing it through in solo mode would be a bit tough (solo would be my preferance). How is the co-op play, if you aren't in a designated group? Are there plenty of pick-up groups available, or is it a struggle to find others that are trying to complete the same mission as you?

I actually did most of the whole game in solo as I wanted to follow the story. There are some missions certainly early on that you will need to do several times till you finish them but it's quite satisfying when you do it.
Regarding other groups. There is an option at the start of each of the main missions to find other players. This will mean that they should be on the same mission as you. As to whether they will be much use in the mission is anyone's guess. Black Rose had a mission where they ran past her and left her to die when they could have revived her easily. So it's a bit hit and miss but certainly should not dissuade you from getting it. It is a very enjoyable game I find.

The Division is certainly doable solo. I didn't die very much but I can see how you can if you have bad stats and load out.

I finally started playing The Division this weekend. Still figuring it all out. It's been quite a while since I played a shooter game.

While stumbling around in the Uplay settings, I was able to change my alias to something more recognizable to our group here .....
