25 years ago today hope was rekindled, (very sad in the light of recent develpments in the east, but stll) a strong moment for freedom and peace.

Great post Wolf !

I remember the night well...
I was serving in what was West Germany at the time ... laid up in BMH Hannover with a back injury, watching it all unfold on tv ... Unbelievable .

Cant believe its been 25 years since...
