Origin sucks (in case you needed a reminder)

if you are thinking of buying any game released by EA do yourself a favor and pop into town to buy a physical copy, I've just installed windows hate on my pc and have had to download my games again.

Steam: 3 games downloaded in a few hours

Origin: one game 65% downloaded and its taken me all friggin day!

what's worse is that the % keeps dropping back, so far its been as high as 70% but keeps slipping back to around 60%

save yourself the pain and buy a physical disc if a game you really want is on this platform, even if you have to buy the box online and wait a few days for it to arrive there is a good chance it will still be faster than trying to download it via this POS client.

and there was me looking forward to playing NFS: the run tonight :(

what makes it worse is that i still have 2 other games from them that i need to download, at this rate they may be finished by xmas :x

Grrrrrrrrrrr!

Did you know you can copy the Origin Games folder and then paste it in your new location/pc and it saves you downloading?

Not much use to you now, I know, but a handy tip! :D

yea i know, but with a full re-install i decided to do a complete wipe of my hard drive and with only having the one drive and a USB2 external that's full i had nowhere to put it :(
