Defunct now but still works........

You can set a diff press and release command......

I use it for my lights, hard points etc that are on toggles......

Great..
Like I needed to spend more money...

:D

Tactile feedback is great......Nothing like flipping a switch.....Or pressing a button.....

That's why I built the controller......

Yep sad I know......

But a challenge.......And I do like one of them......

Sadly VR has taken that away.........

Well almost.......Still use a few things with a peek down the nose......

:)

Indeed tacticle all the way, maybe change buttons and some layout, especially the shape of buttons then after a while you can feel your way to the right button.

Like with my hotas, the three hat switches has a different shape and feel to it, its not possible to mistake one for the other.
It should be possible for you to source something similar that you can navigate by touch.

Worst case.
Glue boardgame pieces to each button ;)

oooooo! Wheelstand. I looked at one of these for my Joysticks. Could not justify something that here cost MORE than my sticks.

Well I'm now thinking how it can be modded for my Warthog setup.......

To bring my throttle and joystick down from desk level.......

I will not know until I build it and look at it in detail.......

V2 mount which I have.....

► Show Spoiler

But the Vers 1 shifter mounts are stands that come out the bottom of the stand.......

► Show Spoiler

Not sure how they would get on with the weight of the Warthog though......

But it would only cost me about £20 + postage to find out......And that's for the two.....

Sometimes I wish my brain would stop thinking.......

Found another dangerous website....

https://www.fanatec.com/eu-en/

Put a shopping cart together and it ended up being €1400 ...

Put that was a wheelbase. GT style wheel and one formula style wheel and pedals.
Looks like a great wheelstand, mine keeps sliding around a bit.

I'm having ideas for a more sim-pit like setup again just need the fecking bath fixed so I can take a dump.

Yea I'd taken a mooch around there.....Looks nice gear.......But more than I want to pay really......

In another universe....

Why do people bid on stuff on Ebay and end up winning a used item that is only a few quid cheaper than a brand new one.....

Never could get my head around that......

In another dimension.......

Experimenting with the analogue handbrake control last night.......

Don't you just love smoke and the acrid smell of electronic components telling you to fuck off....... :D

This is what you get for not paying attention......

Still gotta support the Chinese economy somehow I spose.......

:)

Fun, I honestly dunno why bother, I have never needed to use the handbrake in Pcars 2 anyways.
Maygbe in D1rt, but why bother playing that ?

On similar levels of fun.
I wake up this morning and during first cup of joe, I sense "Hmm, that tooth had more tooth", And those edges are really sharp..
Think a quarter of it has just split off in the night so surprise visit to Ali the friendly dentist.
Currently wondering what part of me is more sore, my mouth or my wallet..

I'm honestly not unhappy with the g29, I'm just running down the rabbit hole and although the prices middling level insane.
Still the nerd sitting on my shoulder that said, "sure get a rift even if you have a vive" this time says "FUCK NO !" when the shopping cart starts teetering over €2000.
And that's without the taxes, which would be another €400.

The prices are much nicer than the Leo Bodnar stuff however. But those guys do mostly aim for the military run simulator market...

Less basement dwelling nerds, more General of his royal majesties armed services.

Still don't have a shitter.
Happy I'm not Dawg..

That bin liner must be getting a bit full now........ ;)

And I'm also happy you're not Dawg.......

Ones enough.......Two would be a feckin nightmare.......

Could be right about the handbrake there.....

Think I'll just stick to a button on the wheel for now and see how much I use it......

Roll on Black Friday.......

Prices are still not moving in the right direction...... :(
