Is there a way to block threads?

Hi!

I try to be up to date in this forum.
Therefore I try to look at new posts in the forums that interest me.
The hightlighting and the notification help to keep track.

Sometimes you have threads that don't interest you at all, but they cause that the forum is highlighted as "new content".
If these threads are updated in a high frequency, it makes the "new content" highlight not very useful.

I also like the board function to get a notification for whole forums but had to deactivate it because of the same reason.

I don't want to block users. But can I block threads?

I don't know of any way to block a thread (not even with my moderator rights).

I always use "view unread" when I visit the board, whether it's through my browser or using TapaTalk on the phone. I just skip over threads that don't interest me,and when I'm done I click on 'mark as read'.

You can subscribe to specific threads and you can follow users (at least on TapaTalk you can).

Hope that helps a bit. :)
