Site not remembering my login state

Postby Loriath » Wed Mar 09, 2016 9:32 am

About three days ago, I noticed that I was no longer logged into the site. So I logged in, making sure to select Remember Me.

Now since I have joined Mobius, if I closed my browser and came back to the site I would still be logged in. Not anymore. Anyone else?

Does this on Both Chrome and FF. No changes have been made to my settings in either browser. I have tried with now extensions enabled, and with settings back to defaults. I even removed chrome, deleted all appdata and profile info, re installed and its the same.

My login keys are registering in my profile. Any ideas?

About three days ago, I updated the site to the newest patch, so I am sure this relates to that.
I will be looking into it. I purged all sessions for now, to see if this helps, so all users should have to re log in at least once.

if i find a fix, I will apply it ASAP, of course.

Sorry for that!

Check your link/bookmark. Set it to use HTTPS instead of HTTP - fixed it for me :)

That was actually it! I had it figured out just mere seconds before you posted this. ;)
The permanent redirect to port 443 was missing in the server config after the update. Fixed it.

Perfect.

You're off the hook this time Wolf, but don't let it happen again or we WILL have words (where words are dumbfires to the face) :P

That website (link in the signature) needs an upgrade of it's certificate. I suggest letsencrypt :P
