Elite: Dangerous PvE - Mobius

Would it be possible to have some sort of space where we can organize meetings in-game and such? Not so much an events board, which we already have, but a board where we can see who's on and if they want to do something in game?

As soon as I went off to check where my Cobra was parked to come back and give a shout out to see if anyone was up for meeting in space in about 15 minutes or so (I can wait), the same thought occurred.

I think its a good idea personally. We can use the events board for stuff like group exploration, and use the shout out board for just general meeting up in space stuff.

I think there's a "shout box" module for phpBB. Maybe that would be more appropriate than a thread. Wolf?

Last time I checked there were 3.7 gazillion plus 2 modules for phpBB.
At the moment I am not looking into that. But that does not mean never. I am still tweaking the standard installation at the moment. Then we will do some cosmetic improvements (Mobius already has prepared some, I just have to find the time to include them into the style without breaking the layout )
I have to check when phpBB 3.1 is due, and what features are fix on the roadmap.

If you don't want it spammed, maybe hide it for online members only and limit the number of posts per day/hour?

Think facebook is where this would fit the best and has the most users.
Hardly anything stays visible for more than a day or two anyways.

And best of all, nobody needs to do nothing for it to be used for it.
