Re: Anyone With A Rift

Had a look through my logs and got a lot of "BAD" too. All seem to be referring to "bad_isopacket_status" whatever that is....

Re: Having a bad day flying my Beluga!

I'm thinking of reconfiguring my Python for passenger missions instead of using the Beluga.
It can look after itself a lot better and still fit enough cabins to take on plenty of passengers.
I'll keep the Beluga but I might strip her down and put her in storage for a while.

Having a bad day flying my Beluga!

I've had my Beluga for a few weeks and I've been running OOM passenger missions quite profitably for a while. I found it to be quite easy to fly and docking/undocking seemed straightforward enough. I didn't feel the need to fit a docking computer. BUT! Today I've been bouncing around landing pads a ...

Take a look here;- https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=YyeWPRa_8gQ

I use EDDiscovery to gather logs and that's linked to my EDSM account.

Got my Rift!

Received my Oculus Rift today after taking up the special offer. So far I've just done the set-up and a tutorial. One thing I found that I was very happy with is that I don't need the glasses I normally wear to use the computer with the Rift, it looks far better without them. So I'm finding it a qui...

Re: Oculus Rift

Right, I've taken the plunge and bought the Occulus Rift bundle that's on offer at Amazon. Mentioned to the missus that I was thinking about one and she actually encouraged me to go for it, so that was it, off I went. Looking forward to experiencing VR for the first time. I ordered a USB3 expansion ...

Re: Three at once, can I stand the excitement :)

I've just passed 500 million in total assets, so a long way to go. I'm in no great hurry though, that's taken me over two years....
Tried a 'Conda for a while, but eventually went back to my favourite ship, my Python.
Trying out a Vulture for some bounty hunting at the moment.

Ally of OOM at last.

I'm usually based at Jameson but a few months back I moved over to Azrael to try and improve my reputation with the Order of Mobius. At that time progress seemed very slow, nothing much improved no matter how many missions I did. So I abandoned it and went home... Anyway, I decided to have another g...

Visiting the Thargoids

Went to HIP 19026 yesterday, and today I've been to HIP 14909 (in fact, I'm still on the planet) The first location was pretty quiet. But on arriving at HIP 14909 I picked up a distress call, and found a wrecked ship ( I think it's a Federation capital ship) in orbit around planet 1, with the typica...

Re: Do you remember the Thargoids?

Yep, on my trusty old BBC micro back in '84. Usual result from an encounter was pulled into Witch space and then killed.... certainly until I could afford better weapons. Of course, back then, it just meant going back to your last save. It'll be interesting to see how they implement it this time. I ...
