Elite: Dangerous PvE - Mobius

2½ days - still no sign of any rebel transmissions. I'm in the system I'm supposed to be in (Azrael, as it happens) and no matter where I drop, there are never any canisters. Materials, yes, but no canisters.

Am I doing something wrong, or is it just borked?

I read somewhere that the .99 instead of a round amount was to force (most of the time) the shop assistant to use the till to get change for the customer. Otherwise, they could just pocket the notes. Don't know how true that is...

I love the idea of a sausage tour if only to look at it end on, and from the side, from a distance.

If you have fixed or gimballed weps, do everything you can when maneouvring to keep your assailant in their fire. If you present the top or bottom of your ship to them, they can't miss. I'm only doing mining so I can say I've done it. It makes trading feel interesting.

So the basic premise of that thread is that the 2.1 players will have an advantage over 1.6 players and the OP didn't think it was fair. Well from my perspective it's not about fairness it's about balance. Frontier already have a problem with new players in sideys being hunted by idiots in overpowe...

I didn't have a T9 for long, but I recall being interdicted on pretty much every trip. Submit, boost once, jump out. Some pulse turrets shooting back at your agressor help...
