Re: Dweller

Remember that even with silent running once you're temp gets past a certain point you're still visible. Start running silent them drop a heatsink, if you start heating up again to any significant ammount, drop another one.

Re: Keelback

From what I understand the Keelback is almost an interesting choice... However there's not a whole lot of internal slots on it so it does wind up a compromise between sheilds/fighter bay/cargo. A shielded and fighter bay equipped Keelback with turrets should be able to defend itself reasonably well....

Re: OOM Ship Prefix

I get what you are saying. Maybe people could add a hyphen with the function prefix after, if they want to, like OMS-C or OMS-E. If there is a defined list somewhere, they could choose. Just keep in mind that the name is limited to 22 characters. If you lose six of those (OMS-C plus a space) then i...

Re: advice

Honestly the Vulture is in a bit of a niche of its own. There's not really anything I can think of to compare it to. Viper Mk IV at 0.4M is the Mk III's heavier brother. Little bit more armor, tad more power and shields, worse speed/maneuverability. Cobra Mk IV (if you have access to it) at 0.7M is ...

Re: advice

The Vulture is the bulldog of combat ships. Small-ish and reasonably maneuverable, packs one hell of a bite, but don't expect to go far in it. Pros: 2 Large weapon mounts. Seriously this is the smallest ship to mount large weapons, and it does two of them. The big advantage here is that you're not g...

I do enjoy it, but yeah... the wait times really kill it, especially in my timezone.

Re: What are you doing (ingame) now?

Basically slowly grinding out some credits using trade missions in my mostly C rated python to get some more upgrades. Based around Torval's HQ for now as I can slip in the odd load of dissidents for some powerplay ranks.

Re: CMDR ScytheKnight

Sent the request and got TeamSpeak setup.

And yeah I realized 'server' wasn't really the right word... was making that post just before going to bed.

CMDR ScytheKnight

G'day all, So I'm ScytheKnight from Australia. I've not joined a server yet, been playing the game purely in solo on and off for a few years, was really only just recently that I really got my feet under me (using an HCS voicepack helps a lot, makes the game feel much more alive), just yesterday bou...
