It depends on what you're budget is. In my opinion, the bigger scoop is more important than the extra couple ly jump range. You also get some more room for activities in the ASP

Yeah you could scan the planet and get the same info. I wrote this because I saw a ringed planet I would have attempted to land on if it were less than 3x gravity. In order to scan that planet, I would have to fly 17k ls to get to it. This allows you to input the data at the star and make a decision...

Well I've been hanging around in colonia for a while doing passenger missions. I'm currently refitting my anaconda for a trip out to Sag A*

I never give the docking computer full control in the anaconda. I fly through the slot since that is the hard part and where you will run into traffic. After I'm inside, I'll let it take over to find my port. I'm not going to let the computer fly my 300M ship in tight spaces without supervision.

I was having a lot of trouble getting my Anaconda landed. It didn't seem to want to go all the way down to the pad, so I looked at my cameras and saw this.
