I only ever scan Neutron stars and worlds that look like they could be valuable. I've got a 7A fuel scoop so I'm typically in system f...

Re: Anyone in route to Sagittarius A*

Re: Diamondback explorer or Asp Explorer

yeah you need the advanced discovery scanner and detailed surface scanners. If you scan all the neutron stars and earth like worlds on the way back you'll be 20-40m richer

Re: Diamondback explorer or Asp Explorer

You didn't say you were already in colonia. There is very few A rated components out here. Since you're already out here, get something with a lot of internal space and run some sightseeing passenger missions from Colonia Dream in Ratraii to colonia. There are three beacons at jaques station so it's...

Re: Diamondback explorer or Asp Explorer

You get your money back for the outfitting. When selling ships you lose 10% including all installed parts. Your best bet when selling ships is to remove and sell the components individually then sale the ship when it is empty.

Re: Diamondback explorer or Asp Explorer

Forgot to mention, you can also find discounted outfitting. I set up shop around Lembava when I was living in the bubble for the outfitting discounts

Re: Diamondback explorer or Asp Explorer

At that price range, a DBX is probably gonna be better for you. You can save a little over 2m buying the ASP from Li-Yong Rui controlled systems, but I still couldn't get a good explorer build under 12m. Trying to keep ASP close to 12M makes the jump range suffer as well so there you have it. DBX: h...

Re: Diamondback explorer or Asp Explorer

The bigger the number, the better the component. The letter beside the number is the efficiency. A rated stuff is the 'best' but not necessarily best in all situations. If you're planning on doing some exploration, D rated components are the lightest and therefore give you a better jump range. In an...
