Re: Trying really hard...

Part of the problem is that the AI is spawned based on your combat rank - which in turn is dictated by how many ships you've destroyed since you bought the game, not how good you are. Someone who has been playing for a couple of years (but isn't particularly good) might get hit by the same level of ...

Re: Good MiFi device and service

I went from Virgin to Vodafone. Haven't regretted it at all. I now get 4G at work whereas before I wasn't even getting a signal unless one particular chair was free in the north side of the building. Virgin don't offer 4G so it's not worth going with them.

Not really. You both seemed to indicate that the secret to successful salvage missions is to avoid targeting the canister you need.

Re: Life expectancy

I've been interdicted many times over the last few days, with no cargo at all. Or so I thought. It turns out that sometimes you get cargo as well as credits for completing missions. I was flying around with cargo I didn't know I had. If it's a while before you get back, I'd say judging from the nois...

Re: What are you doing (ingame) now?

Note to self, when playing around with ship modules and re-fitting a fuel scoop, check the power management, new modules default to priority 1. Facing an Elite Anaconda and finding none of your weapons work is not recommended (there was much running away!) :P I think I have that T shirt somewhere, ...

If you drop into the USS and **DON'T SELECT ANYTHING**, drop some collector limpets, pick up everything in the area (discard the trash later) and SC out, the NPC's never come to attack you. Selecting the black box, or other item, is the trigger to send in the NPC's. :roll: 100% wrong. <snip> My rou...

Re: What are you doing (ingame) now?

Currently looking for ways to rank up (Fed or Empire - doesn't matter, whichever I don't choose will only follow on next after I've maxed out).

Seems like every single mission is Rep++ Inf++

Does +++ exist anywhere?

That would look fun if the aggressor is in a cutter and the victim is an eagle :D
